Text Box: In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Praises be to Allah , and peaces from Allah be upon our master Mohammed the truth and the sincere.

Oh Allah , Teach us what is useful, and but us in the use of this knowledge and increase our knowledge, Oh Allah, Show as right as it is , Direct us to follow it , Grant us the awareness and avoidance of  the injustice , Oh Allah ,Bless us as to be of those who listen carefully to a speech then follow its best , Be Merciful to us as to make us among Your good worshippers . Oh. Allah , Take us away from ignorance darkness and illusions , to the shine of knowledge and science , and from the desires stink to heavens.

O, respectable brothers, with this new lesson about Fiqhsera ( prophet's Jurisprudence) ; we move today towards the core of the Islamic mission ( of prophet Mohammed-PBUH- in Mekkah, and the resulted reactions of the fellows among whom the holy prophet –PBUH- was .

O brothers, if we want to express this Islamic religion ,which is a revelation of Allah , in one word, we will say : Islamic religion is equivalent to Monotheism ( i.e. belief in the existence of one God-Allah): there's only one God, Who created the universes, He is the Lord of Alamin ( plural of  world). He is the Impeller , the Doer, the Provider, the Revival , The Causer to death, The Supporter, the Increaser, the Decreasor (of your provision), the Giver, the Prohibiter, the One Who grants you wealth, and the One Who causes your poverty,He is the One Who bestows health , or deprives from it ( causes illness), when you believe that every single issue is within the Hand of Allah ( i.e. is subjected to Allah's will); then and only then you've realized the truth of the Islamic religion. This Islamic religion ,the religion of Monotheism, has been revealed in a pagan community; in which people used to worship several idols; made by their own hands. Those idols could bring no good to them , neither could they prevent harm from happening. Idols couldn't also revive , nor could they cause death.

" He said : "Worship you that which you ( yourselves) carve?"

[As-Saffat:95]

Once, they had worshipped an idol made of dates ; which they ate when they were hungry. So, in this idols worshipping based environment , the verses of the holy Qura'n were revealed. The verses stated directly that there's no true God but Allah, He has no partners. Provided that , Allah – the All-Mighty and only Allah must be worshipped. No other god  whether visible or invisible, should be worshipped with Allah. The absolute Monotheism is the crucial Issue worked as basis for all prophet's mission. Once again , our Isalmic religion is the religion of Monotheism, moreover, the slaves have never been taught anything better than Monotheism.

" And We did not send any Messenger before you ( O Mohammed –PBUH) but We revealed to him (saying): la ilaha illa ana[ none has the right to be worshipped but I ( Allah) ] , so worship Me ( Alone and none else)."

[Al-Anbiya':25]

O brothers, fear, worry, hypocrisy, committing sins to earn your living, and psychological illnesses are all related to weak  Monotheism. For example, if a child's temperature went on , and we took him to a pediatrician who only gave him a tablet to reduce his high temperature . we shall comment: this person could not be a doctor, as high temperature is a symptom of an infection disease, and unless he dug and reached the origin and the real cause of the high temperature, he wouldn't be a doctor. like wise, the current problems in the Islamic World are uncountable. Some people think that they're related to social problems. In fact , it has nothing to do with social problems. In other words, they're symptoms of one disease; the farness of Allah and a weak Monotheism. Why on earth would a human being disobey Allah to earn his living? because he has a weak monotheism, which causes him the wrong image that his earning is within the hands of some one ( a person ). Why a person slips ? Why he deals in hypocrisy? Why he goes in true fear state? The answer for all these questions is : because he has a weak monotheism. Again, the slaves have never been taught anything better than Monotheism.

Thus, if we track the holy Qura'n verses , in which Allah has mentioned in brief the mission of every prophet:

" Worship Allah !You have no other Ilah (God) but Him."

[Al-Mu'minun:32]

O brothers, Quraish was worshipping Lat & Uzza ( two famous idols of pagans), they used to put their idols on the Haram ( the holy Qa'aba ) in Makkah. provided that Ka'aba is a leftover of  our master Ibrahim ( PBUH). So, people of Quraish were worshipping idols, which could cause no harm and no good, they ( idols) could not provide , revive, or  cause them death. More over, human being is only fitted for Allah, since , as we know solid is for plants, plant is for animal , animal is for mankind , and mankind is for Allah alone. Allah said in the Authentic sacred Hadeeth: "O my slave I created the heavens and earth for your sake, never had I felt tired of creating them. Would I ever be tired of providing you with your bread? You're obliged to fulfill your duties and obligations towards Me, and  I Am obliged to provide you. Never the less , if you disobey and abandon your obligation towards Me, I 'll not oppose providing you. By My glory and Sublimity, unless you feel satisfaction with your destiny, I'll cause you restless endeavors in this worldly life , just like running beasts in the jungle chasing their victims. Then, you shall never gain more than your lot ( destiny) , and I shall not care, and you became totally dispraised. You want , and I want. So, if you submitted to what I want, I suffice you what you want. However, if you don't submit to what I want, I will cause you tiredness and exhaustion in what you want , then it is what I want that only happens."

As a projection in our daily life, you couldn't feel happy unless you're a Monotheist. Likewise you won't be mighty and strong unless you're a Monotheist. you won't be brave and strong unless you're a Monotheist. you won't feel the value of your humanity unless you're a Monotheist. A story to illustrate this fact, when Imam Hasan Basri, had fulfilled the Mission of scholars ( clarification and illustration), he said the truth about Hajaj ( a mighty and oppressive ruler). When Hajaj was told what Imam Hasan said about him . So, he intended to kill him and said to his companions : O cowards, I'll  quench your thirst of his blood. And he sent his guards to drag him in order to cut his head. Every thing was ready then, and  imam Hasan's was waited to be executed to death. Once imam Hasan entered the palace, he realized the whole thing and knew that he was brought here to be killed. He hurried then to supplicate to Allah – the All-Mighty saying : O My amuser in my loneliness , O my shelter in the hard times, turn his severe anger into coolness and safety just as you made the fire cool and safety upon Ibrahim ( Abraham) –PBUH. No sooner had he said these words than Hajaj said to him : O Aba Sa'eed ( Hasan's nickname) come here . he kept bringing imam Hasan closer and closer till he made him set with him on his throne . in addition to that , he asked Imam Hasan some questions, perfumed him , and walked him out to the door. The swords man then hurried after Imam Hasan and asked him : O Aba Saeed , What had happened ? you've been brought not to be treated in this kind and gentle way. Imam Hasan then told him about his supplication.

But , back to this narration, What had happened ?

The answer to this question is that : be aware of this important fact : the holy prophet –PBUH said : " The worshipper's heart is within two fingers of Allah –the Merciful"

[ narrated Muslim, reported Abdullah Bin Amr]

Why has the holy prophet –PBUH described that the worshippers' hearts are under the control of Allah? In order to assure you, so that your worries will be relieved, and you'll be sure that X's heart- whom you feel afraid of , is under Allah's control.

" They said: " Our Lord! Verily we fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress. He ( Allah) said : Fear not, verily I am with you both, hearing and seeing."

[ Taha:45-46]

Pharaoh who said :

" I am your lord ,most high"

[An-Nazi'at:24]

Pharaoh who said :

"I know not that you have an Ilah (God) other than me."

[Al-Qasas:38]

With all his oppression and haughtiness could not convince his wife to worship him and abandon worshipping Allah. Why hadn't he killed her? What has prevented him- when it was very easy for him to kill people? The whole is within the hands of Allah ( i.e. every thing is under the control of Allah). More over the truth doesn't break your provision nor does it make your death closer.

O brothers , I had to say this fact: Monotheism , as an idea  or concept, is clear, and it's easy to be understood. However , it's great effort to activate monotheism in your live. ( i.e. to live as a true Monotheist). In other words, it's great thing to see no one with Allah, to realize that Allah is the only Doer in this universe. Also to realize that :

"The Hand of Allah is over their hands."

[Al-Fath:10]

Also to realize that :

"Not for you (O Muhammed-PBUH- but for Allah ) is the decision."

[Al-Imran:128]

Also to realize that :

"They have no Wali( Helper, Disposer of affairs, Protector) other than Him, and He makes none to share in His Decision and His Rule."

[Al-Kahf:26]

Also to realize that :

"And to Him return all affairs ( for decision). So worship Him ( O Muhammed –PBUH) and put your trust in Him."

[Hud:123]

Also to realize that :

"Whatever of mercy( i.e. of good) , Allah may grant to mankind, none can withhold it; and whatever He may withhold, none can grant it thereafter. And He is the All-Mighty , the All-Wise."

[Fatir:2]

Also to realize that :

"So know O Muhammed –PBUH that , La ilaha illallah ( none has the right to be worshipped but Allah )."

[Muhammed:19]

Also to realize that :

"It is He ( Allah) Who is the only Ilah (God  to be worshipped) in the heaven and the only Ilah (God  to be worshipped) on the earth."

[Az-Zukhruf: 84]

O brothers, Believe me, about 95% of Muslims don't see that the whole matter in within the Hands of Allah, they imagine that X or Y has the control upon matters, they believe X could give them , or Y could prevent them, to make closer or farther, to lift high or lower down. Thus , even that people are Muslims ; still , they worship indirectly other gods with Allah. That's what the holy prophet –PBUH-stated in the holy hadeeth saying :"I'm mostly alarmed that you'd have an  invisible polytheism. I don't say that you'd worship  an idol or a rock, but you may worship an invisible desire and deeds which were not meant for the sake of Allah."

Imam Ali-may Allah be pleased with him- says: " Polytheism is more hidden than the steps of a black ant on a solid rock during a dark night."

Could any one ever hear the sound of a walking black ant on a solid rock during dark nights? Certainly it has no sound. Polytheism is much hiden than this black ant.

The least example could be said about this is , for example, if you like a wealthy relative of yours, even though you know he is an oppressive, you just like him because whenever you visit him he gives you precious presents, and serves you the best food. More over, if you accompany him in a trip, he spends a lot of money upon you . this example shows that you are a polytheist. A contrary example  also shows a hidden polytheism is hating somebody when you know he's truthful and just, as if someone advise you politely, and you say to your self : How dare he ?, then you hate him for this behavior ;even though, you know he is truthful and just.

Now back again to the people of Quraish who were worshipping idols, and several gods when a holy prophet comes to them advising them : these gods are made of your imagination , and there's only One God- Allah . Monotheism is the first thing in the Islamic Mission. O brothers I swear that talking about Monotheism doesn't have an end, Monotheism resembles the whole and entire religion , what we mention today in a mere brief .

Concentrate in this : There's no true god But Allah , the deeper you went in this concept , the endless you'd find it. No wonder that there're bad people in this world , lethal weapons, fatal diseases, and killing viruses:

" Say: " I seek refuge with ( Allah ), the Lord of the daybreak, From the evil of what He has created."

[Al-Falaq:1-2]

However , Allah has created all these creatures- be careful :

" Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the Wakil ( Trustee, Disposer of affairs, Guardian) over all things."

[ Az-Zumar:62]

In his hands , if He wants, these creatures reaches to you. But , if He wants , He keeps them away from you. So , your true relation should be with Him ( Allah), not with these scaring creatures.

The deeper you go through Monotheism , the more security your heart is filled:

" So which ( of the two parties has more right to be in security? If you but know. It's those who believe in the Oneness of Allah and worship none but Him (Alone) and confuse not their belief with Zulm ( wrong i.e. by worshipping others besides Allah), for them ( only ) there's security and they are the guided."

[Al-An'am:81-82]

The deeper you go through Monotheism , the more you seek support from Allah.

The deeper you go through Monotheism , the more self-satisfaction you get. The deeper you go through Monotheism , the more self steem you feel.

The holy prophet –PBUH- said : " O ask for things with self esteem , as matters happen according to fate."

[ reported Abdullah bin Busr, Narrated tammam & Ibn Asaker]

Back again to the tribe of Quraish, when the holy prophet started delivering his Mission , they were stunned to hear about Monotheism. Since they were used to worship many gods, they were shocked to learn that the core of prophet Mohammed's Mission is the Oneness of God. They used to believe that this life :

" There is nothing but our life of this world! "

[Al-Muminun:37]

And that there's no such other life:

" We die and we live!"

[Al-Muminun:37]

When this holy prophet –PBUH – told them : No , there's indeed another life, an eternal one.

O brothers , I swear if we imagine for a while to ignore the other life, million questions will raise to the surface. Why X is wealthy when Y is poor? One person's tap cost may be equivalent to other person's house cost! Could this be rational? A tap is totally made of gold. Why X has a 400m2 house's area when Y doesn't have a room at the top of the mountain to establish a marriage life at? Why a person commands to kill entire people when other people died due to oppression? Thus, if you look in the holy qura'n , you'll find out that Monotheism and the Resurrection Day were mostly accompanied. In this particular day ( i.e. Resurrection Day ) accounts will be set for, and the oppressed one will take his right against the oppressive person. At that day , every one will take his right from his oppressor.

That's why they didn't believe " There is nothing but our life of this world! we die and we live!"

"And we are not going to be resurrected."

[Al-Muminun:37]

They were shocked to hear the holy prophet-PBUH- says : No the after life is the real life, the after life is the eternal life. It involves whatever an eye has never seen , nor has an ear heard , nor what ever imagination passed through a human being's mind. The basis of the other life is honoring.

" There they will have all that they desire- and We have more ( for them i.e. a glance at the All-Mighty, All-Majestic)"

[Qaf:35]

The other life involves no fatigue , no tiredness, no illness, no poverty, no bad wife, no ungrateful son, no nosy neighbor, no oppressive person. It's an eternal bliss.

Allah's said in the authentic Hadeeth : " O I prepare to my righteous worshippers whatever – concentrate on this - an eye has never seen , nor has an ear heard , nor what ever imagination passed through a human being's mind."

[ narrated : Bukhari, Muslim, Tarmathy, Ibn MAjah,& Ahmed reported Abu Hurairah]

The circle of seeing is limited. You may have visited some cities in the world. Whereas the circle of hearing is wider, you could easily listen to the news of 200 cities. But the circle of thoughts is endless, you may think of a real thing or unreal thing. These three categories ( seeing, hearing, thinking ) are listed in this Hadeeth :

" O I prepare to my righteous worshippers whatever – concentrate on this - an eye has never seen , nor has an ear heard , nor what ever imagination passed through a human being's mind."

The holy prophet-PBUH- used to used the representative style. How would he show them the difference between this worldly life and the other life(i.e. Resurrection Life)?

For example try to visit a coastal city ( Latheqeiah) and ride a boat holding a needle, then dip it in the water. When you pull it out the water notice the quantity of sea water left on it; that's what the holy prophet-PBUH- said : "This worldly life has taken of the other life a quantity  just as much as the quantity of water a dipped needle in a sea would take."

[ Narrated Tabarani, reported Mastoor]

When Allah the Creator of universes tells you:

"Say : "Short is the enjoyment of this world."

[An-Nisa':77]

"Verily, these (disbelievers) love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day (that will be hard)."

[Al-Insan:27]

" And indeed the hereafter is better for you than the present life of this world. And verily, your Lord will give you ( all good) so that you shall be well-pleased."

[Ad-Duha:4-5]

O brothers , the second fundamental concept in this Mission , which was revealed in Makkah is that there's another day ( Resurrection Day) in which accounts are set, and the oppressed person will take his right from the oppressor.

A righteous person was accused by someone of backbiting him. He replied to him : And who are you for me to backbite you ? if I 'm ever to backbite someone , this person will be either my mother or my father, as they deserve my goods more than you. This happens when you know that the person you malign will take your goods in the Resurrection Day. Beside belief in oneness of god ( Monotheism), there's the belief in the Resurrection Day. Thus, they were twice shocked to know that these idols have no real origins, and that this worldly life is worthless, just as our master Ali – may Allah be pleased with him- " Well, let a person think deeply and try to visualize that Allah has indeed honored our holy prophet Mohammed –PBUH – when He kept this worldly life away from him." Our prophet –PBUH- had never seen Europe, nor had he  visited America, he hadn't seen these nice , beautiful cities , or these civilizations. His live was very tough and coarse , his room was narrow that his wife couldn't  lie down when he was praying. So, whenever he intended to pray, his wife should shift her body from the place on which he pray. Well, let a person think deeply and try to visualize that Allah has indeed honored our holy prophet Mohammed –PBUH – when He kept this worldly life away from him. If some one said : O Mohammed has be dishonored or insulted by this action. Then , this person is lying. And if this person said : Allah had honored him when He did so ( kept the worldly life away from him ), then other persons were dishonored by making this worldly life very available and handy to him. Allah gives this worldly life to those whom He doesn't like; for instance, He gave it to Karoon, to Pharaoh. But What has He given to his beloved ones?

The answer is :

" And when he attained his full strength , and was perfect ( in manhood),We bestowed on him Hukm ( Prophethood, and right judgment of the affairs)and religious knowledge[ of the religion of his forefathers i.e. Islamic Monotheism ]. And thus do We reward the Muhsinun (i.e. good doers)"

[Al-Qasas:14]

O respectable brothers , I inquire about the influence of this verse, to which I was simply introducing, over you ? if, for example, a child told you I own a great amount of money, he probably means 200 Syrian Liras. But , when an official at the Pentagon says : We've prepared a great budget to the war in Iraq. And the number was also 200 , this mustn't mean 200 Syrian Liras, it certainly means 200 Milliard $. So, the same word ( great ) has more than one indication . thus, if this word was used by Allah the king of kings, the creator of heavens and earth:

" And taught you that which you knew not. And Ever Great is the Grace of Allah unto you ( O Muhammed –PBUH)."

[An-Nisa':113]

The real profit is to know Allah Who said : " O son of Adam appeal to Me and you'll find Me. And if you find me , you then find every thing. And I miss you , every thing else miss you, and I 'm more lovable to you than anything else."

So, back now to the Mission of the prophet –PBUH –in Mekka . it calls for Monotheism, belief in the Resurrection day , and the third stage is the regulations and restrictions . as we know the life of Quraish before Islam has no restrictions or regulations. There was no forbiddens  drinking alcohol , adultery which has more than one kind . one kind of adultery was that a husband would ask his wife to go to X who's intelligent  and have sex with him in order to get pregnant with an intelligent child. A woman might have 10 husbands, if she ever got pregnant and delivered a child she was free to decide which one was his father   . Kinds of profligacy in the time before Islam was indescribable, it contains adultery, fearful usury, drinking alcohol. The revealed religion forbids drinking alcohol, adultery, usury, gambling…etc . those were there permission funs. Like wise are sleeping , eating nowadays. Imagine that you're forbidden from eating , from sleeping. The same could be said about them , they were used to have fun in gambling, usury, adultery, drinking alcohol, that's why they were stunned to learn about this new religion . They also missed their balance.. imagine the great effort the holy prophet –PBUH had given to this mission , and what he had bore to deliver it. More over, there was a dominant system of classes in Mekkah. The superior class , and the inferior class ; the class of slaves. Slaves have no rights , and could claim none. A slave would easily face oppression ,being killed, working without salary. What shocked the high class of Makkah is that this religion state the equality between slaves and their masters . it also stated that you all are the sons of Adam , whose origin is dust. Provided that people are equal just like the comb's teeth.

For them , the pagans, this religion was unbelievable, to worship just one God ( Monotheism ) , to believe in the Resurrection Day ( belief in the other life ), there're many forbiddens, and they have no preferable rank or distinct over others ( i.e. people are equal). This religion drove them mad because they used to prevent people from Tawaf ( turning round ) Ka'ba with their  clothes on. They used to order them to take off their clothes and to turn round Ka'ba full naked. This is very similar now to the attitude of the one polar in our recent world. Another concept of this religion was that those weak people have rights in your money

" And those in whose wealth there is a recognized right. For the beggar who asks, and for the unlucky who has lost his property and wealth ( and his means of living has been straitened."

[Al-Ma'arij:24-25]

They couldn't bear the whole idea of a new religion which will strict their lives. They come up with an idea to attend the assembly of the holy prophet –PBUH – on the condition of making the low class people ( the poor ones, the slaves, the weak ones) set at the back rows, and that they shall set in the front rows , being the wealthy and strong people. There idea could be interpreted in our daily life that a high class person does not accept to set with a low class one, due to their pride. Thus, in the first stage,  they refused to attend the prophet's-PBUH- assembly because those who follow him are :

" Nor do we see any follow you but the meanest among us and they (too) followed you without thinking."

[Hud:27]

Then they suggested that the low class would attend the prophet's assembly in a different day. Then , they accepted that the low class would set at the back rows. At that time , it was revealed to the holy prophet-PBUH – that :

" And turn not away those who invoke their Lord, morning and afternoon seeking His face. You are accountable for them in nothing , and they are accountable for you in nothing , that you may turn them away , and thus become of Zalimun ( unjust)"

[Al-An'am :52]

This religion is the religion of equality, the religion of instinct, an Arabian person isn't better that a Persian one unless by piety . a white  man is not better than a black man ( a negro) unless by his piety.

Once, in a moment of unconscious , a companion of the holy prophet –PBUH- said to a negro : O son of a black woman. So, the holy prophet-PBUH – was angry. In order to gain the holy prophet's satisfaction, this companion insisted to put his head on the floor and demanded the black negro to step on his head. This is Islam, it has no classes , a man is  not better than the other unless he has more piety.

" Verily, the most honorable of you with Allah is that ( believer)who has At-Taqwa[i.e. he is one of the Muttaqun] ( the pious]. Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware."

[Al-Hujurat:13]

In was narrated that, Abu Sufian master of Quraish and leader of his tribe was waiting to take the permission to see Omar , when he was Khalifah. Whereas Bilal & Suhaibwere permitted to enter and leave whenever they want , and without permission. When he ( Abu Sufian ) was permitted to see Omar , he admonished Omar saying: O I've been waiting at your door waiting for your permission when Bilal & Suhaid enter without permission? Omar replied : Do you think that you're like them? It's a different society.

I swear by Allah , unless we resort to use these important values, we won't gain victory. Unless we apply the verse Verily, the most honorable of you with Allah is that ( believer)who has At-Taqwa[i.e. he is one of the Muttaqun] ( the pious

We won't deserve Allah's triumph. In our societies , there's a hidden classes . we should know that the human being is the construction of Allah , more over; whoever destruct this construction is damned.

O brothers, what we all should know is that this Mission  is based on Monotheism , belief in the Resurrection Day, and do's and don'ts( i.e. Islamic Instructions). In Islam there is a duty upon Muslims, obligations, affirmed Sunnah , not affirmed Sunnah, recommendable, permitted, disdained mishap, prohibited mishap, and prohibited. The high lights of the Islamic Mission are there's only one curriculum, One god ( Monotheism) , a Resurrection Day, Do's & don'ts, people are equal like a comb's teeth, and poor people have a legitimate right in wealthy people's money. How ever, these highlights was totally contradicting the people of Mekkah then ( when the holy prophet-PBUH started calling to Islam).

O respectable brothers, in a next lesson , we shall continue , in Sha'a Allah, this purified prophetical biography. We'll also deduce rules to help to achieve safety and happiness in this life. There's only one truth. The most dangerous thing in Muslims life is hidden polytheism. The second thing , there's less than 5% of Muslims consider the Resurrection Day in their conduct. Although he says by tongue : I believe in the Resurrection Day , but his conduct contradicts this fact, and this is obvious by his earning prohibited money, unjust dealing with others even if by the way he looks at them or talk to them …etc. thus, if we truly  believe in Allah, we should be restricted to the straight path and apply Allah's orders.

The paganism that accompanied the appear of Islam was named by Allah as the first paganism . this has an indication that there's such a second paganism , with which we're living; that's why :

"The religion had begun strange, and it'll be strange again just like its beginning. Hence, beatitude for the strangers , righteous people among a lot of nasty bad people."

       [ Narrated : Ahmed]
