Scientific Topics- Miraculous Scientific Topics (14): Genetics and Differentiation of Cells

Fertilizing the egg:

You can watch now on the screen how the man's sperm recently united with the woman's egg. The DNA and the genetic information enclosed in the sperm and the egg comes together. Hence, one of the greatest miracles on earth occurs, whereby a new human being is created from this miraculous meeting.
This meeting may have been difficult to believe, but within the cell, however, lies all the conceivable information of the soon-to-be human being who is yet to be born, such as the color of the eye, the skin color, the color of the hair, the shape of the face and the physical characteristics. All such information has been encoded here, but it is not only limited to the physical appearance, but includes the data which ranges from internal organs, veins, and even forms of blood cells, to all imaginable details and information of man whether he is 7 years old or 70 years old. All respective idiosyncrasies have been written and decoded within these cells.

Cell division:

Shortly after fertilization, the cell yet behaves in another very perplexing way, as it splits into two new cells, then it splits again and becomes four, and the creation of a new human being begins. But why does the cell take this decision, and why does it cost itself the trouble of human formation? These questions guide us to the Greatness of Allah the Almighty, the All-Knowing and All-Powerful; the Creator of the cell and the human being enclosed within it, the Creator of the world where mankind exists and the whole universe. Allah the Almighty has created them all from nihility.

Cell differentiation:

At this moment, we are watching the journey of the cells that divide, and continuously multiply within the fallopian tube. This mass of cells is henceforth termed the fertilized egg. During cell division and multiplication within the fertilized egg, another puzzling incident occurs. Some cells begin to differentiate. Differentiation is the greatest evidence of the existence of Allah, and if the differentiation process ceases to exist, the fetus would become a piece of bone or a piece of meat.
Another group of cells are differentiated in a remarkable and noteworthy way; for the differentiated cells surround them, and shortly become the new central cells that are the human being. Afterwards, another group of cells are formed in the shape of the placenta, the baby, and then the placenta.
There is concealed work in these cells, the fertilized egg - after four days from the time of fertilization – reaches the place that has been equipped and allocated for it. After that, the egg moves in the fallopian tube, so that its journey ends in the uterus. However, the problem is that the cell attached to the egg does not have protrusions that would  enable it to hold onto the uterus. So, what will happen next?

Implantation of the fertilized egg in the wall of the uterus:

It is unbelievable how the fertilized egg has to fasten to the wall of the uterus so as not to fall out of the body and the pregnancy ends. However, the fertilized egg is only a circular mass made up of analogous cells with no protrusions that would enable it to be affixed anywhere. This egg is on the wall of the uterus. So, how could it attach itself to the wall? This is also has been designed and planned when the fertilized egg reaches the womb.
A new system is emerging, and this image has been captured by an electronic microscope. It demonstrates the fertilized egg that has reached the mother's womb, and how the cells in the outer surface of the egg emit special enzymes that dissolve the uterine wall, so that the egg holds on strongly to the womb.
It becomes, thus, rescued from falling out of the uterus. The presence of these cells on the surface of the fertilized egg in the appropriate position, and the secretion of the accurate and suitable enzymes once again unveils the perfection of its creation. It is due to to this perfect creation that the fertilized egg is implanted in the wall of the uterus.

The stage of the clinging clot in human creation:

The new creature that grows up while clinging to the womb is now called the fetus. This scientific fact has been recently discovered by modern biology. Yet, it has been mentioned in the Noble Quran when Allah Almighty refers to the first stage of the embryo's creation in the mother's womb and uses the word 'Alaqa (clinging clot):

(Read in the name of your Lord who created * created humans from a clinging clot * Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous * Who taught by the pen * taught humanity what they knew not)
