Dear brothers, the prophet (PBUH) migrated from Mecca to Medina a long time ago, but why do we celebrate this occasion?
We celebrate Hijra to be a guidance for us in every migration between two cities like Mecca and Medina.

The clearest example of Hijra nowadays is the following. A man living in a very developed Western country but where Islamic values are lost as adultery is accepted and prostitution is ok. If he stays in that beautiful country enjoying the huge salary, amazing services and freedom there, his daughter might go astray because of the surroundings, or his son’s faith might be corrupted. What should he do?

Hijra is when you prefer a place where you might suffer but you can keep the religion of yourself and your children to another place which is much better but where you can lose your family and children.
