Dear Dr. Nabulsi
What is the ruling of someone who had sexual relation with his wife during the day of Ramadan?

Answer
He has to fast a day instead and set a slave free, fast for sixty consequetive days, or feed sixty poor people. As for the wife, she has to fast a day instead and if she was content with having sexual relation during the day of Ramadan, she has to do the same as her husband.
