Ramadan stations- Marvels (10): The Highest Rank in Reciting Quran

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Dear noble brothers, the Prophet PBUH said:

(He who observes fasting during the month of Ramadan with Faith while seeking its reward from Allah, will have his past sins forgiven.)

[Agreed upon, on the authority of Abi Hurairah]

If your sins are like mountains, they will be forgiven if you observe Siyaam (fasting) during this month as Allah decrees; a kind of Siyaam that is not spoiled by watching TV, a kind of Siyaam that is an act of worship more than a habit, a kind of Siyaam that reflects piety without being spoiled by sins

and a kind of Siyaam that pushes man towards Allah the Almighty not away from Him.

(He who observes fasting during the month of Ramadan with Faith while seeking its reward from Allah, will have his past sins forgiven.)

[Agreed upon, on the authority of Abi Hurairah]

﴾ Nor does he speak of (his own) desire. It is only an Inspiration that is inspired.﴿

[An-Najm, 3-4]

In another Hadith the Prophet PBUH said:

"Whosoever performs (optional) prayers at night during the month of Ramadan, with Faith and in the hope of receiving Allah's reward, will have his past sins forgiven."

[Agreed upon, on the authority of Abi Hurairah]

Some scholars said, "The highest rank one may have in reciting the Noble Quran is while standing in Al-Masjid during Salah."

This means that the most rewarded recitation of the Quran is to recite it while standing in Al-Masjid during Salah, and this is but Taraweeh Salah.
