Lesson 22 – "O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire (Hell)"

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Dear noble brothers, we are discussing a new lesson of this series about the Ayaat that start with, "O you who believe…", and the Ayah today is the following:

﴾ (O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not, (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded.) ﴿

[At-Tahrim, 6]

The relationship between the father and his son is biological, exactly like the relationship between you and your hand which is biological as well. Thus, if you injured your hand, you will feel pain, and you can't do without your hand, because it is a physical part of your body and it is related to you biologically.
If the father is summoned by the police to take his son who has been arrested due to his misbehavior, the father will be deeply hurt when he sees his son in the police station arrested along with his cousin, and the friend of his cousin. In fact, the pain of the father is unbearable when he is told that his son has become morally deviated, has stolen money, has committed adultery, or has committed a crime, because the biological relationship between the father and his son makes the misery of the son the absolute reason of the misery of his parents, and the proof is in the following Ayah:

﴾(So let him not get you both out of Paradise, so that you be distressed in misery.) ﴿

[Ta-Ha, 117]
