All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, the truthful and trustworthy.
A Greek tourist decided to spend two weeks in Turkey. He arrived in a stunning city called Yalova, but all hotels were fully booked—five-star, four-star, even the small inns and guesthouses. He could not find a single room available.
Late at night, around midnight, he knocked on a random door. A man answered. The tourist asked, “Is there any chance I could stay here?” The man smiled and said, “You’re most welcome! I have two houses—please come in.” He showed him around: two bedrooms, a guest room, and plenty of food. “The fridge is yours,” he said. “Help yourself to dinner.” The tourist ate, slept comfortably, and woke up to see breakfast ready.
He was stunned by such generosity from a complete stranger. Then he discovered something even more remarkable: the homeowner had spent the night outside under a tree with his children, sleeping on a mattress so the guest could be comfortable inside. That simple act of kindness was what led the tourist to embrace Islam.
This is what true faith looks like—winning hearts through compassion.
