Friday sermon (1023): The spiritual, recognition and morality side of human life

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Praise be to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our souls, and the adverse consequences of our deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, there is none that can misguide him, and whomsoever He misguides, you will find no protector to guide him. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah; He is alone, having no partners, and I admit His Lordship, compelling this truth for those who denied Him and disbelieved in Him. And I bear witness that our Master Muhammad, may Allah have peace and blessings upon him, is the Messenger of Allah; the Master of the created and the human race, and I keep professing that for as long as sight can be seen with an eye and for as long as news can be heard with an ear.

O Allah, our Lord, have peace and blessings upon our Master Muhammad, his Folks, his Companions, his descendants and those who allied with him and followed him until the Day of Judgment.

O Allah our Lord, teach us what is useful for us, let us make use of what You have taught us and advance us in knowledge. O Allah, show us the righteous things as righteous and help us do them, and show us the bad things as bad and help us keep away from them.  O Allah our Lord, make us amongst those who listen to the Word and follow the best meaning of It, and admit us, by Your Grace, to the ranks of Your righteous servants.

The intellectual forum on the commonalities of the Divine Messages:

Dear noble brothers, with the participation of Al-Azhar University, the Association of Islamic Universities, Harvard University, Cairo University, Ain Shams University, and a group of Islamic scholars and priests, an intellectual forum was held in Damascus at the Arab Cultural Center to discuss the common principles in the Divine Messages and their activation. The points discussed belonged to ten major topics, and I tackled the spiritual and intellectual sides in man's life, besides calling to the moral transcendence.

As the topic of my discussion at the forum is strongly related to the topic I promised to discuss in my radio Khutbah, which is "The Reason Why Muslims are in Such Situation From an Islamic and Quranic Perspectives", I will address the issue I tackled in my speech at the Intellectual Forum in this Khutbah, and I will highlight the main points next Khutbah insha' Allah.

The gap between beliefs and actions is a contemporary social problem:

Dear brothers, among the loftiest goals of the Prophets and Messengers' mission, peace be upon them, is to have a perfect human being, to build a cohesive family, and to establish a moral society, but the widely spread corruption caused many moral problems in the society. Unfortunately, lying has become like breathing in this society; most people, whether groups or individuals, lie. Other indecent morals, such as charlatanism, envy, hypocrisy, immorality, injustice, betrayal, fanaticism, cheating,  greed, cunning, deception, obscenity, misery, excessiveness, extravagance, having bad thought of Allah the Almighty, disobedience to parents, child's maltreatment, ill-gotten money, and unjustly taking the orphan's wealth, can be noticed in the society as well.

Hypocrisy, which is lengthily discussed in the Noble Quran and the authenticated Prophetic Sunnah, indicates a failure in matching the words with the beliefs. This is the hypocrisy in one's beliefs, which detaches him from his religion. On the other hand, the contradiction between one's words and actions is referred to as the practical hypocrisy, and it prevails in the society, so the mission of moral development is to cleanse Muslims' lives of all these problems.

The harmony of one's words with his beliefs is one source of happiness:

Dear noble brothers, happiness is one of the main things we all seek. All people among 6.000 million seek safety and happiness. In fact, the most important source of happiness and contentment is the harmony of one's reality with his beliefs. The gap between what you believe in and what you do, between your words and actions, and between your private life and your public one, is a serious moral problem.

The harmony between one's beliefs and his actions is one of the sources of happiness. Man feels that he is on cloud nine, and that he is extremely relieved whenever he overcomes a hurdle that may cause a contradiction between his deeds and the sublime values and principles he believes in.

The reason why some people commit suicide:

Dear noble brothers, sensual pleasures do not penetrate the heart. According to an extensive study that is published on an informative website, a large number of celebrities committed suicide, because though they had attained the highest levels of income, reputation, and fame, they knew neither their Lord nor the purpose of their existence. They committed suicide out of being fed up with everything and out of feeling lost.

True Happiness:

Dear noble brothers, sensual pleasures do not pierce the heart's membrane, nor do they hover over it; but rather, the ecstasy of controlling one's desires and temptations, as well as the pressures of desires and interests, fills his existence with peace and tranquility. Why is our Prophet Yusuf, peace be upon him, the role model of chastity? Because he defeated his desires. Well, the Prophets, peace be upon them, would not have been The Masters of mankind had they not had the same characteristics of all human beings, but they were victorious over their own selves. Similarly, the believer, who controls his own self, taking the side of al-Haqq (the truth), will always be bright, and Allah will let him taste the sweetness of believing which if is missed, man will be miserable even if he owns everything in life, but if he tastes it, he will always be pleased even if he misses everything.

Where can true happiness be found?

Pay attention to this fact, please; True happiness is not gained from outside, but rather, it is a ray of light that is born and flourishes within man, illuminating all parts of life, making it more valuable and rational and better equipped for growth, progress, and continuity. This concept depends on the situation of the society where moral rulings are established, where the sound of religious commitment and steadfastness is louder, and where the soul's glories hover over the self.

Consider this example, please: if there are over 100 electrical appliances in a house, but there is no power, what is the worth of these appliances? They are worth nothing. They are merely metal blocks that burden the house's owner, but if there is power, they will be precious electronics. Likewise, when faith flows in one's soul, getting married, having children, working, having a craft, going for picnics and everything in life, will be meaningful.

The role of the psychological moral foundation in society:

Dear noble brothers, in every society, the moral psychological foundation is the one that bears the weights imposed by the nature of materialistic lifestyle, as well as the setbacks that the Ummah suffers from in the various aspects of life.

This foundation allows people to bear the difficult circumstances without deviating from the right path or become corrupted. To elaborate, when people suffer a severe financial crisis, the moral foundation encourages them to help the needy, feed the hungry, and grant time for those who are in debt. Needless to say, they hold firm to their religious principles to stay strong while facing the demands of the difficult circumstances. Hence, you will find the right Muslim, with the help of his values and deep faith, abstaining from all types of illegal earnings although he needs money badly.

This moral foundation is a tremendous reserve balance on which nations rely in order to correct a variety of flaws in their lives. From this point, we realize the hideous crime committed against this Ummah when it is pushed by her enemies theoretically and practically towards making the moral and psychological values to be considered of low priority. Consequently, when people faced the difficulties of life, they became poor, and they could not meet their basic needs, they did not find a solid moral foundation to help them resist temptations and different reasons of the decline.

Severe punishment does not establish a society:

Dear noble brothers, we must be certain that the harshest punishing laws in even the best social systems cannot fix the deviation they have. Some developing countries put, with good intentions, strict laws to fix the social problems they have; only good intentions are not enough. Actually, neither the best social systems nor the strictest punishing rules will be able to straighten the deviation of the people, or to fill the emptiness left by the withering of the spirit, the weakness of faith, and the degradation of values. In brief, the harsh punishing rules never construct a society, but they protect it.

Systems and rules, no matter how strict and perfect they are, will not prevent anyone from breaking them. We should be certain that the prevailing lusts and whims, which have reached their peak, can only be curbed by a flowing stream of faith and human feelings. The purpose of man's reason is to lead him to the path, the methods and the tools that are suitable for work. Reason provides us with the energy to think, to theorize, to analyze, to contemplate, and to see the right path, but what drives us to move and adhere to the Divine Orders and Prohibitions is something else.

The deep faith and the strong feelings, we get from the connection with Allah, provide us with the energy to go towards The Right Path, and with the strength to suppress the flaming lusts.

Many young people, who were driven by lusts, immorality, and debauchery, were not in dire need of proofs of the virtues of chastity and steadfastness, but they were in dire need of impressive words that would touch their hearts after tasting the sweetness of worshipping Allah the Almighty properly, and after feeling how close Allah the Almighty is to them.

The materialistic objects never bring happiness to the society:

When technological advancement reaches its zenith and man is fed up with the remote control tools and with the life that is trouble free, his soul longs for whatever goes beyond materialism.

During the opening of the longest bridge in Istanbul which connects Asia with Europe, and which is crossed by more than 400.000 cars per day, the engineer, who designed it, and who is considered one of the top five engineers in the world, committed suicide, throwing himself into the Bosporus.  When people went to his room in the hotel, they read a note he left on a piece of paper, saying, "I tried everything in life, but everything was tasteless, so I wanted to taste death." Had he known Allah the Almighty, connected to Him, sought His Pleasure and longed for the happiness in the Hereafter, he would have been the happiest man on earth.

Dear noble brothers, there is a hole in the soul that can't be filled with money, power, prominent social position, reputation, pleasure, or joys, but can only be filled with believing in Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He.

Dear brothers, we are yearning to be in a place, where there is mercy, and there is no bloodshed. 100 people are killed on daily basis, and people can't put up with the scenes of bloodshed, arresting, tyranny, torture, and injustice any more. We all hope to have a place built up with the bricks of honesty because everything we hear is mere lies.

How does man feel after the civilization glut?

Dear noble brothers, as I have just said, man is fed up with the remote control tools and with the life that is trouble free, his soul longs for whatever that goes beyond materialism. This yearning has nothing to do with a luxurious home, a modern vehicle, a beautiful wife, parties, travels, or tourism. Indeed, man yearns for a connection with Allah the Almighty, tranquility that is cast into his heart, obedience to Allah, repentance to Him, and getting closer to Him. In addition, man needs to feel that Allah the Almighty loves him, to feel he is elevated in Allah's Sight, and to realize that death is a turning point in man's life, after which he moves from the narrowness of the worldly life to the vastness of the Hereafter, from confusion to conscience, and from the hardships of the worldly life to the bliss of Jannah (Paradise).

Dear noble brothers, we are in a desperate need of a world of sympathy and a world of sacrifice of few gains in order to help everyone continue living. May Allah be my Witness that I am proud of this country, because its people give others generously, and they keep looking for good deeds, and this is due to Allah's Favor.

Who is the judging party regarding positives and negatives?

Today's moralists will be tomorrow's leaders. Islam teaches us- listen carefully to these words- that it is possible to correct our route before we reach the bottom of the abyss. It also teaches us that it is possible to turn from losers into winners, before we lose everything, provided that we listen to the instructions of the Fitrah instilled deep inside us, that we control some of the body's needs in order to resurrect the soul, and that we think deeply while awaiting what is to come.

It must be stated that the crucial thing about morals is their frame of reference. I mean we should think of the answer to this question: What is our frame of reference to judge what is considered as good morals and what is considered as bad ones? Who is going to be in charge of assessing morals and punishes or rewards thereupon? Unfortunately, the party according to whose reference we evaluate our morals, and the party who punishes and rewards people is the West. We are their followers, and this is indicated in the following Hadith:

(You will follow the ways of those nations who were before you, span by span and cubit by cubit (i.e., inch by inch) so much so that even if they entered a hole of a mastigure, you would follow them.)

The results of letting the reason evaluate morals:

The reference according to which morals are evaluated in the West has switched from the Divine Revelation to reason, and when reason evaluates, away from Revelation, it leads us to relativity in morals which is very serious. Consequently, the road becomes paved for turning vices into virtues by rationalizing them. Every now and then, a country passes a legislation that permits homosexual relationships. Ambassadors now can attend the appointing ceremony of their mission in other countries brining their same-sex partners, and they are highly respected. Furthermore, there are Ministers who admit it saying, "We are gays." Man's reason turns the common thing into legislation.

Dear noble brothers, economic progress, for example, has metaphorically become an idol that is worshipped instead of Allah the Almighty, and to which all sacrifices are offered. Undoubtedly, we should make enormous efforts to create new morals that address the challenges of living in a complex era while holding firmly to the Islamic principles and values. However, the significant progress on the moral level necessitates progress on the political and cultural levels, as backwardness precludes genuine moral innovations.

The danger of secularism:

It is no secret, dear brothers, that secular culture, as well as many other cultures that were impose on us, almost completely ignored the moral side of our life as a result of being influenced by a man-created philosophy that made materialism the goal of all advancement. Moreover, materialism has become the science, the morals, the good conducts and the values everyone seeks, whereas the genius Islamic morals have been visualized, due to ignorance, as imposed limitations and old fashion traditions. Not to mention, as a Muslim, you are considered weak because you have good morals, or vice versa. Furthermore, Muslims are accused of losing the ability to assimilate modern civilization, and thus morals, as perceived by secular currents, mean that the one, who has them, is naive and simple-minded, not to mention that the sincerity of his stand is doubted, and he is prone to different accusations.

Some common moral problems:

Dear noble brothers, we have many significant moral problems because many of our authors have marginalized the moral issues in their literary works.

Due to the poor planning and the poor living situations most people have, we have many serious moral problems, some of them include but not limited to the following ones:

1- Having purposeless life:

Many people today do not have lofty ideals, and they are preoccupied with meeting their basic needs. Let alone, possessing a small house is like achieving a great significant triumph in a fierce war. A poet in the era of Khalifah Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, was imprisoned because of these two poetic verses, which have become the motto of every human being today:

Let the virtues, and do not seek them

Relax as long as you are fed and well-clothed

 ***

Man's main concerns and his utmost purposes in life at present are confined to buying a house, getting married to a beautiful woman, having satisfying income, and pleasing himself with fulfilling lusts and being indulged in pleasures.

Dear noble brothers, man has turned into a zoo animal that spends its life in the zoo away from other animals which live in the wild. He is not only isolated from his natural environment, but also from the depths of himself, from his identity, and from the purpose of his existence. He spends his life eating, drinking, and staying up watching series. What do these series present? In one of them, a girl is invited to a house she does not know, and she is worried about her virginity, but her friend assures her, saying, "The hymen can be patched, so do not be worried." What are these series doing to us?" It subtly sets forth new values in disguise, such as the pornography and atheism.

2- Having weak sense of responsibility:

Dear noble brothers, the vast majority of people suffer from a weak sense of responsibility, given responsibility is a principle that goes beyond the direct and individual interest, to reflect the transcendence of man, and his ability to be committed towards others and sacrifice for them. Unfortunately, the Muslim today is concerned about his own interests, and rarely can we find a Muslim who cares for all Muslims' concerns and interests. For instance, the careless Muslim watches the war in Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Lebanon, but he attends the parties that are held in hotels and on farms, as if he has nothing to do with the sad events in those countries. Belonging to the group no more exists, because caring for the personal interests has replaced it. This bitter truth should encourage us to exalt instead of being pushed into despair.

3- The withering of the collective spirit:

Dear noble brothers, there is a group of Muslims who are suffering from the withering of their collective spirit on the civilized level, and thus this group constantly tends to a kind of introversion and withdrawal, saying, "It is not our business; it is all arranged by your Lord. Well, this is also a problem; withdrawal from the current events, being indifferent to other Muslims' misery, and giving instructions to others without taking any part in helping them, are serious problems. Furthermore, admiring Islam without applying its teachings is also a problem.

4- Disdaining the creative work:

Dear noble brothers, apart from the problems I have just mentioned, there are bad habits relating to work and consumerism. One of these habits is despising the creative work, and replacing that with the strong desire to buy real estate properties and automobiles and to spend money lavishly beyond the available resources of the Ummah. Most of our economic activities are based on tourism which requires having many restaurants, hotels, and touristic resorts. Hence, we are so far from developing a strategy that enhances our position and gives us the upper hand in making our decisions.

There are many moral problems regarding interpersonal relationships, such as severing kinship ties, estrangement between parents and neighbors, envy, arrogance, and selfishness. Also taking advantage of public and common revenues, the heavy traffic, lacking resources, the regress in moral education and poor caring regarding major goals, will produce more psychological distress and will increase moral problems.

5- Schizophrenia:

Dear noble brothers, over half of the population suffers from mental diseases such as schizophrenia, and half of the women in this country are divorced.  In our country, the divorce rate was 15 per 1000, then it became 15 per 100, but now it is 50%. In other words, among every 100 marriages, there are 50% divorce cases due to moral deviation, material craving, instant gratification, and absolute disregard for the Hereafter.

Addressing the moral deterioration is necessary:

The moral deterioration is most likely the result of societal crises. The percentage of the crimes committed may increase due to severe financial crises, extreme repression, or the existence of people who are indulged in extravagance and luxury. Hence, we should never ignore addressing the moral issues while trying to address other ones.

We should also consider another fact relating to the moral issue. Every nation has a value scale in which its morals are organized based on two factors: its virtues and needs. During Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic period) Arabs considered chivalry and generosity at the top of their virtues, and after Islam, those two ideals became less important than other new ones, as the significant criterion for determining virtue became piety and fear of Allah the Almighty. Much in the same line, in modern industrial civilizations, there is a strong propensity to prioritize correctness, mastery, effectiveness, achievement, skill, and success, so they are at the top of the value scale.

Having a new doorway to moral development:

Nowadays, we need desperately a new doorway to moral development that is based on giving some values and moral constants new meanings, or giving specific attention for some of their implications, so that we may lessen the severity of the backwardness that conquers Muslim's life.

In our modern life, fear of Allah needs to expand its meanings in order to embrace some civilized tasks, such as rushing to work, mastering work, developing work, good management of time, institutional work, consolidating the concept of work-team, punctuality, good utilization of available capabilities, and rationalization of consumption. These values, which are basic principles in our religion, should be activated and framed within piety.

The rule of education in the moral values:

It is possible, dear noble brothers, through education and good exhortation to make the Muslim taste the sweetness of having faith and being committed religiously while performing the missions that the nature of this era requires, just as he tastes the sweetness of putting Sadaqah (charity) in the hands of the poor or the sweetness of performing night prayers while people are asleep. Psychological and moral rejuvenating is not about abrogating morals and adopting other sorts of morals instead, but rather it is about expanding the indications of some moral concepts and giving them higher priority in the general course of manners.

Dear noble brothers, every nation has specific principles on which it depends in social control and in making some possibilities outweigh others. Also, every nation never intends to turn its reality into a war against its principles. The Islamic Ummah set the greatest and the peerless examples in this regard. Considering the numerous challenges that face whoever seeks outstanding moral advancement in critical conditions, it is vital to mention some concepts, conditions, and methods that we believe to have an impact on developing and improving our Ummah's psychological and moral levels and taking them to a better level.

Dear brothers, call yourselves to account before you are called to do so, and weigh your deeds before they are weighed against you, and you should know that the Angel of Death has reached others and will reach us soon, so pay heed. The wise man is the one who calls himself to account (and refrains from doing evil deeds) and does noble deeds to benefit him after death; and the foolish person is the one who subdues himself to his temptations and desires and seeks from Allah the fulfillment of his vain desires.

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds

***

The 2nd Khutbah:

Praise be to Allah, and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, the Protector of righteous people; and I bear witness that Prophet Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, whose character is exalted. O Allah, our Lord, have peace and blessings upon our Master Muhammad, upon his Folks and upon his Companions.

The landmarks of the first launch:

Dear brothers, the Islamic Ummah is attempting today to move forward towards broader horizons. If she intends to do so, she should refresh the contents of the first launch, whose spark was ignited by the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the people of the great eras after him. Achieving this mission requires outstanding pioneers, Du'aat (Islamic missioners), advocates, and excellent scholars of special quality.

Although the huge number is necessary, the quality of the traits and the morals that they should have is much more significant. The honorable Companions, who received comprehensive and distinct education from the Prophet, peace be upon him, were few, but the uniqueness of their traits and morals made them matchless role models who could establish a massive elongated structure of guidance and good examples from which we are still stemming blessings.

1- Getting back to the original resources:

Returning to the original resources is one of the characteristics of whoever intends to improve the status of the Ummah. Besides, this should ignite the spark the Prophet, peace be upon him, inflamed among his Companions.

2- The strong connection to Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He:

One of the characteristics of the needed working paper is to have a strong connection to Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, that overwhelms the Muslim's being, moves his faith from the region of the rational circle and heart belief to the realm of feelings, as indicated in the following Hadith reported by Muslim. When the Prophet, peace be upon him was asked by Gabriel about the meaning of Ihsan (benevolence) he replied:

((It is that you worship Allah as if you see Him.))

[ [Muslim, on the authority of Umar] ]

Applying this Hadith will only be done through heavy worship, because faith is more like a leafy tree; whenever we want for this tree to grow and for its branches to extend in every direction, we should water it more. The water for the faith is the obligatory acts of worship, supererogatory acts of worship, and remembrance. Watering one's faith was very clear in the life of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, and the life of the righteous predecessors in general. The living and flowing faith is the greatest energy we need in the launching phase, and it is not a mere alternative.

3- Patience and endurance:

Patience and endurance are required since the horrible reality, we live in, is but the result of many centuries' worth of errors. To improve this reality in a positive way, we need time and effort as mentioned in the Noble Quran:

﴾ And We made from among them (Children of Israel), leaders, giving guidance under Our Command, when they were patient… ﴿

[ [As-Sajdah, 24] ]

Sometimes, people become discouraged because of the big difficult mission they have and because they feel that the progress is achieved in a slow manner, or it is not achieved at all. Unlike these people, the trustworthy Du'aat and good scholars do not get themselves busy with the steps they walked in their mission, nor do they keep thinking of the steps ahead. All their concern is making use of time as much as possible and improving the situation of the Ummah. They pay their effort and do their best to accomplish even a small part of the mission required from them, and they hope that Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, will accept their deed.

4- Turning away from the joys and adornments of the worldly life

Although every Muslim is expected to turn away from the mundane joys and adornments of the worldly life as much as he can, the pioneers among Muslims are more likely to do so. They have, for greater reason, to be less concerned than other people about the pleasures of this worldly life, without reaching the point of deprivation. The main point concerning this blessed group of people is that they should be recognized by other people through their lifestyle, and their standards for acquiring lofty social status.

The Ummah is in desperate need of funds to build public facilities, schools, and universities, and it needs someone to explain to it in a scientific manner a new methodology for living far from extravagance, luxury, and spending money recklessly.

5- Sacrifice, giving abundantly, and self-generosity

Sacrifice, giving abundantly, and self-generosity are all significant characteristics of those who fight for the Ummah's resurrection. Although these meanings are ingrained in the Muslim's culture and conscience, people are always yearning for role models and tangible examples. Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, would not have sent the Messengers, peace be upon them, and He would not have revealed Divine Books if principles alone could have changed people's lives to the better. Regarding this point, Allah's degreed, regarding mankind, that actions speak louder than words, and that what can be observed by senses has more influence than the effect of abstract matters, because the former are more impressive than the latter. Accordingly, the manners of one person that affect 1000 people is greater than the words of thousands of callers to Allah who are addressing one person.

Our Problem is to be or not to be:

Dear noble brothers, our problem is whether to be or not to be; our enemies want to impoverish, mislead, corrupt, humiliate, and annihilate us, and everything that happens around us confirms this fact. Therefore, there must be awakening, vigilance, repentance, and reconciliation with Allah the Almighty. Moreover, getting back to the foundations of this religion, the Quran and Sunnah, is a must that the whole society should commit itself to.  Furthermore, as a Muslim, you should dedicate some of your time, knowledge, and money to improve the Ummah.

Indeed, your face will radiate when you feel that Allah the Almighty loves you, and when you serve His servants. This feeling alone pleases you in the worldly life and the Hereafter.

Du'a:

Dear noble brothers, I will make Du'a to Allah, so say Amin after me.

O Allah, we beseech You to show us the way of righteousness together with those to whom You showed it; and to give us good health together with those whom You have healed; and to be our Protector, as You are of those whom You protect; and to bless what You have bestowed on us; and to save us from the affliction that You have decreed –for You rule with justice and You are never judged; and he whom You protect shall never be humiliated, and he whom You make Your enemy shall never be elevated, blessed and dignified are You. We thank You for what You have decreed, we ask You for Forgiveness for our sins, and we repent to You.

O Allah, please lead us to the good deeds, for no one leads to them but You; please lead us to the good conduct, for no one leads to it but You; please make us do well in the Deen, which is our dignity, make us do well in our worldly life, in which we dwell and grant us safety on the Day of Judgment for it is our Final Destination. O Allah, please supply our life with all good things and make our death a rest from every evil.

O our Master, the Lord of all Worlds, please make us desire what You have made lawful and reject what You have made unlawful, make us by Your benevolence independent of all others and make our obedience to You turn us away from our disobedience.

O Allah, by Your Mercy and Benevolence, raise high  the word of Al-Haqq and this Deen,  grant triumph to Islam, dignify Muslims and lead the rulers of Muslims to what pleases You, O Lord of the Worlds, as You are the only One Who is capable over His decreed and Who responds to our supplication.
