Disbelieving in Taghut and infidelity is the way to believe in Allah:

 Dear brother, we cannot believe in Allah the Almighty perfectly except when we disbelieve in infidelity. Allah the Almighty says:

"Whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold "

(Surah Al-Baqarah, 256)

 In the abovementioned Ayah, Allah the Almighty has mentioned disbelieving in Taghut before believing in Him, which means the way to believe in Him is to disbelieve in infidelity and tyranny. Allah says:

"Lo! You are the ones who love them but they love you not"

(Surah Al-Imran, 119)

 The events of the past few days demonstrate convincingly that our enemy has no ethical rules, no moral standards, no values and no principles but rather their acts are based on violence, arrogance, and haughtiness.

The battle between truth and falsehood is eternal

  Dear brother, we have to face our enemies. Before continuing my speech, I would like to assure you that if Allah the Almighty had willed, He would have created the infidels on another planet, in another continent, or in another era so that we feel at ease. But according to Allah's deep wisdom and according to His Will, we live together in one planet, and on the same land. There have been always clashes, conflicts, aggression, and tyranny because the war between truth and falsehood is eternal and everlasting. Thus, bear in mind this fact and prepare yourself for this everlasting battle because truth does not become stronger except by facing challenges, and the people of truth do not deserve Paradise except by righteousness and sacrifice.

 This is our fate; we had to face our unscrupulous enemies who have no humanitarian values at all, along with those who elected them, who do not comply with international norms, and who commit grave violation against human rights; those barbaric murders kill children, women, and civilians intentionally. Furthermore, they build themselves up at the expense of sh3er; they build their glory on the ruins of sh3er, their wealth on making sh3er poor, and their power on undermining sh3er' military strength. Furthermore, they describe the homeless and expelled owner of the land of Palestine as a terrorist who has no right to possess his own land, they describe the one who is religiously committed as a radical Muslim, they honor the Jews who have plundered Palestinians' properties, and they possess properties not by legitimated revival but rather by genocide and psychological oppression.
I have mentioned the following incident frequently; when a former President of the United States visited the Middle East; he met the family of the one and only Israeli war prisoner who was captivated by Hamas (Gilad Shalit). It did not occur to him to visit at least one family of the 11 thousand and 8 hundred Palestinian war prisoners who were captivated by the Jews! Allah the Almighty says:

"Until when the earth is clad with its adornments and is beautified, and its people think that they have all the powers of disposal over it, Our Command reaches it by night or by day and We make it like a clean-mown harvest, as if it had not flourished yesterday!"

(Surah Yunus, 24)

"Allah calls to the home of peace (i.e. Paradise, by accepting Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds and abstaining from polytheism and evil deeds)"

(Surah Yunus, 25)

The changing of values is the most dangerous predicament that our nation is experiencing:

 Dear brother, those tyrants may order weak people to endure their sufferings without complaint, to be pleased with the tyrant, to consider their truth as falsehood, and to consider the aggressor's falsehood as truth. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned this situation in the following Hadith in which he said:

((How will it be for you when you do not enjoin what is good and forbid what is bad? Then it was said to him: “O Messenger of Allah the Almighty! Will that happen?” Then he said: “Yes and worse than that, how will it be for you when you order for sins and forbid from acknowledged virtues?” Then it was said to him: “O Messenger of Allah the Almighty! Will that happen?” Then he said: “Yes and worse than that, how will it be for you when you perceive acknowledged virtue as sin and perceive sin as acknowledged virtue?"))

[Narrated by Ibn Abi Ad-Dunya and Abu Yala Al-Muslli from Abi Umama with a weakness in sanad]

  The West hails charges against charity work and religious education. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

"How will it be for you when you perceive acknowledged virtue as sin and perceive sin as acknowledged virtue”.

 Actually, the changing of values is our nation’s most hazardous predicament.
Dear brother, Muslims' situation (in Gaza) is really painful. Has not the time come for us to go beyond mere denunciation, condemnation and defamation? Has not the time come for us to obey Allah the Almighty, to cooperate instead of separate, and to move from words to actions, from conception to implementation, from negligence to productivity, from isolationism to openness, and from inactivity and remaining at home to performing deeds which benefit the whole nation?

Muslims should prepare available power, in different and diverse fields, in order to resist enemies:

 Dear brother, Allah the Almighty says:

"And make ready against them all you can of power,"

[Surah Al-Anfal, 60]

 Muslim families should hold together because family is the basic building block of society. Muslim msh3er should devote themselves entirely to raising their children properly according to the teachings of Islam, because our children are our last trump card. A Muslim student should excel in his study to be superior in order to serve his nation, a Muslim teacher should carry out his mission sincerely, a Muslim craftsman should master his job, a Muslim farmer should cultivate the land with keen interest, a Muslim employer should devote himself to help his fellow citizens, a Muslim judge should be quite fair, and a Muslim highly experienced specialist should prefer serving his nation to his own financial benefit. For example, 5 thousand Syrian doctors are living in one county in America; Detroit, they have resided there and they have never returned to their homeland. Thus, we are suffering from the brain drain phenomenon.
  Dear brother, our Muslim scholar who calls people to Allah should advise the leaders, not flatter them lavishly. Our Muslim officer should know for sure that the battle with our enemy is inevitable, and that the peace talk is mere equivocation, lies, and an attempt to procrastinate. We should extract our natural resources, modernize our factories, and reclaim our lands, which is the meaning of the following ayah in which Allah Almighty says:

"And make ready against them all you can of power"

  Agricultural self-sufficiency is a type of power. Also, our students’ excellence is a type of power because when they become qualified experts in the future, they will serve their society instead of bringing foreign experts whose salaries are 100 times higher than theirs. Thus, there are many types of power; such as the media, self-sufficiency, and so forth. As I always say: Knowing the bitter truth is 1000 times better than being sedated by a tranquilizing delusion. Islamic countries come at the top of the list of importing countries, whereas when it comes to exporting, they are down the list.

 Once, I visited an Asian country; Malaysia. When I arrived, I was greeted by the Syrian ambassador there. He told me that people in that country used to live in the woods a quarter century ago; there are about 23 million people, but nowadays their exports exceed the of the sum of exports by Arab world countries, oil included. Furthermore, this country will be the second fastest growing economy in the world. All people in this country are Muslims, and that is how Muslims should be!

 Dear brother, this is the meaning of the ayah in which Allah Almighty says:

"And make ready against them "

Mastering and perfecting deeds requires sincere faith

  The phase marked by condemnation, weeping, begging for aid, and begging for alliances is useless. Instead, we should be powerful our enemies understand only the language of power, and they despise any other language. Do not suffice by claiming that you are on the right side of the battle, empower yourself and defeat your enemy.

  Dear brother, we should decrease our level of consumption, because our water and electricity consumption is 10 times more than that of the Western world; we should reduce it. I do not want to lament, but rather I want to come up with a plan to improve our situation by deeds not by words. Each and every one of us should take part in strengthening his country's power with regards to all areas of work; i.e. master your business, manufacture good and reasonable-priced products for people, master your cultivation and your industry.

  Dear brother, mastering and perfecting your deeds depends strongly on the deep faith in Allah Almighty; i.e. to seek your reward from Allah alone which will lead you to obey Him. Also, it depends strongly on the deeply held belief in the Day of Reckoning, which prevents us from doing harm to one another. Thus, we should seek the reward for our deeds, great efforts, and jihad from Allah Almighty alone. This is a type of constructive Jihad where no one will prevent you and no one will impede you from perfecting your work; for example, you are capable of opening a shop with the intention of serving Muslims.

 Dear brother, you cannot enjoy the fruits of this kind of Jihad instantly but rather after many years. It is just like when you advise a student to study hard in order to excel in his study, and to plan ahead in order to become a distinguished fellow in the future, not one of the common people. Many million people who were born and came to this life grew up, got married, gave birth to children and, then after many years, died without performing any great deed worth mentioning.They only satisfied their bodily needs like food, drink, and lust. If you have not left any impact on this life, your existence in this life is meaningless.

Avoid the useless acts of weeping and lamenting the status quo:

  Dear brother, to suffice ourselves with listening to the news, sympathizing with weak Muslims, weeping, condemnation, denunciation, and all the other notorious terms weare familiar with, is completely valueless.

  Once, a child asked me how could he help weak Muslims, I told him that he should study hard in order to serve his Islamic nation. Thus, each and every one of us can serve his religion, nation and country through mastering his work.

  By the bounty of Allah the Almighty, our country exports medications to 44 countries in the world, which is considered as a considerable force. Also, strong economy, exporting, local manufacturing, resource extraction, and land reclamation are other types of power. In developed countries, the employee works for 8 hours with deep concentration while, in the developing countries, the real time of the employee's work is no more than 27 minutes, 17 minutes, or even only 1 minute! Therefore, the countries where the citizen works for no more than 27 minutes will never be granted victory over a country where the employee works for 8 hours with undivided attention. There are some statistics that bring about much pain and frustration. For example, the profits of one corporation in Japan, which has 44 thousand workers, are equal to the budget of an Arab country with a population of 70 million people; that is, the effort of 70 million people is equal to the profits of only one corporation.

Every believer should serve his Ummah and take part in developing it:

  Consider the following precise words; there should be an Islamic awakening, and we should all amend our plans. You should be deeply concerned about your Ummah (nation), you should develop your abilities, acquire knowledge, raise the level of your specialty, improve your business, your industry, and your plants, and create job opportunities for sh3er. When I see a prominent industrialist who has 3 thousand employers, for example, I deeply respect him because he helps 3 thousand families in making their living. Do not be self-centered like those selfish people who built their wealth through usury then lost all of it. Most of them lost half of their possessions, estimated at billion pounds, and thus some of them committed suicide, sh3er hanged themselves, and sh3er died from stroke. Do not engage in a trade that makes enormous profits without making any effort, like investing in stocks because there are some powerful businessmen who will seize the opportunity to make you lose your wealth. Actually, those businessmen are considered the most powerful in the world. They have enormous influence over the whole world; they raise gold price, then when considerable number of people buy it, its price drops, so they buy it. Each and every time, they gain millions of pounds at the expense of other people. As for stock exchange, many people lost half of their wealth under a delusion. The price of a barrel of oil raised from 8$ to 150$ then came down to 60$ two days ago, which means there is a trick. It is not a matter of supply and demand but rather an act of deceiving which is performed in the stock market.
  Dear brother, that was the productive kind of Jihad, which is the first point in our worksheet. Keep away from moaning, weeping, and condemnation, because the West adopts a double-standard policy, which reminds me of the following poem:

Killing a man in a town is an unforgivable crime
While incriminating the killing of Muslim people is considered a disputable matter
* **

The steps of the work plan which all of us need:

1- A return to the Quran and Sunnah

 Dear brother, we are in dire need of a work plan that all of us should follow. However, we will not enjoy the fruits of it after a short period of time; i.e. after one hour, two days, or even a year. In fact, when we believe in this work plan and implement its steps, our situation will get better in 2 or 3 years; we will improve our manufacturing of products at low prices, there will be self-sufficiency and competition. The West is tarring us all with the same brush, thus we should all stand in the same trench against them. Thus, the first point in our work plan is to go back to the Quran and Sunnah; i.e. the Method of Allah Almighty which is our way to safety, happiness, winning, and victory.

2- Renewing the faith in Allah Almighty

 The second point is to renew our faith in Allah the Almighty. You may believe in a principle but at the same time you are not strong-willed enough to follow it. So, you need to go back to the Quran and Sunnah in order to understand the teachings of Islam, and you should strengthen your faith in Allah the Almighty in order to follow these teachings. Thus, you need knowledge and deep faith because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

"Faith wears out in your heart as clothes wear out"

[Al-Hakem from Abduallah ibn Amr ibn El ‘Aas]

 There are some matters which weaken your faith such as committing sins, taking Allah's blessings for granted and forgetting to thank Him for them, imitating the non Muslims' practices, and spending most of your time watching TV. Dear brother, we should ask Allah the Almighty to renew faith in our hearts, which is the second point in our work plan. It was narrated that the Prophet, peace be upon him, used to say the following supplications:

((O Allah, I acquit myself before You from putting trust except in You, having hope except in You, submission except to You, entrusting my affairs except to You, hope for anything except Your Mercy, waiting patiently for anything except for Your Mercy, and humiliating myself except in Your Obedience))

 Dear brother, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

"Verily Allah does not look to your faces and your wealth but He looks to your heart and to your deeds."

[AL-Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood, At-Tirmidhi and Malik from Abu Hurayrah]

3- Brotherhood in faith

  Dear brother, as I have just mentioned, the first point in our worksheet is to understand the Quran and Sunnah, the second point is to strengthen our faith by remaining steadfast and firm on the path of Allah Almighty and by performing righteous deeds in order to have a strong will which will enable us to apply the divine orders of Allah. The third point is the brotherhood in faith. Allah Almighty says:

"The believers are nothing else than brother (in Islamic religion)"

(Surah l-Hujurat, 10)

  Dear brother, no one is ever allowed to raise any debate that causes disputes among Muslims, but rather we should stand in one trench (against our enemy) and we should all work together. The proof of this point is that when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came to Al-Madinah, there were two Arab tribes; Al-Aws and Al-Khazraj, some of them were Muslims while the sh3er were pagans. Also, there were some Jews, Christians, and immigrants. Nevertheless, the first document published by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who was the Muslims' leader in Al-Madinah, began by the following sentence: “The people of Yathrib (Al-Madinah) are one nation”.
  Such is the true meaning of citizenship and coexistence; they live one peace and one war, therefore their enemy can never disunite them. Likewise, we should all stand united against our enemy. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

“The people of Yathrib (Al-Madinah) are one nation”

 Despite the varieties of religions and sects, when the people of a country face their enemy, commonalties should bring them together.

 Thus, first, one should return to the Quran and Sunnah; that is, one should understand them better.

 Secondly, one should strengthen one’s faith by performing acts of obedience to Allah Almighty; such as performing the five prayers perfectly, remembering Allah Almighty, reciting the Quran, and performing righteous deeds. Actually, the deep faith will grant you a strong will which will enable you to adhere to Allah's orders and to avoid His prohibitions.

 The third point is that we are in dire need of a cohesive society.

Removing internal injustice is the basis for achieving victory against the foreign enemy:

 It may surprise you that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

"for you are provided means of subsistence and you are helped due to your weaklings."

[Abu Dawood, At-Tirmidhi, and An-Nasai from Abi el Darda’]

  Consider the following words which come from my heart to yours: as long as internal social injustice continues among us; i.e. when the husband treats his wife unfairly, the father oppresses his children, and the eldest brother deprives his younger brother of inheritance, we will never smell the scent of victory. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

"for you are provided means of subsistence and helped due to your weaklings."

  We should remove the internal injustice so that we may deserve to be granted victory against our enemy. Allah Almighty says: “The believers are nothing else than brother (in Islamic religion)”. One should belong to the Islamic Ummah (without partisanship), otherwise you are not a true Muslim. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said:

"The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever".

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim from Al Nu’man bin Basheer]

  Dear brother, it is really painful to ask why Muslims now are not like one body; i.e. a believer may hear about the tragic situation of his fellow-Muslim brother in Gaza, Palestine, Somalia, Iraq, and Afghanistan, and then give the bad shoulder as if it does not matter to him at all. Does the true believer behave in this way? At least you should supplicate Allah Almighty for them, or shed a bitter tear in sympathy with them.

Transforming knowledge into actions:

  The fourth point is that you should transform your knowledge into actions; you should turn everything you know about the teachings of Islam into reality. The true knowledge is that which you put into practice in your life; otherwise it is better to remain ignorant! Allah Almighty says:

" O you who believe! Why do you say that which you do not do? * Most hateful it is with Allah that you say that which you do not do."

((Surah As-Saf, 2-3

 Dear brother, the divine method should turn into a practical reality; that is to say we should excel in our worldly affairs, strive to call people to Allah, hold fast, all of us together, to the rope of Allah, and apply the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon, him in our life, because Allah Almighty says:

"And Allah would not punish them while you (Muhammad PBUH) are amongst them"

(Surah Al-Anfal, 33)

 This means that as long as the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is amongst us (when we put it into practice), we are safe from the punishment of Allah the Almighty.

Allah promises to grant triumph to true Muslims:

 Dear brother, let us tackle another subject; Allah Almighty promises to grant us victory, He says:

(Verily, Fir'aun (Pharaoh) exalted himself in the land)

(Surah Al-Qasas, 4)

 It seems that in every era there is a Pharaoh (a tyrannical ruler)

" And made its people sects, weakening (oppressing) a group (i.e. Children of Israel) among them, killing their sons, and letting their females live. Verily, he was of the Mufsidun (i.e. those who commit great sins and crimes, oppressors, tyrants, etc.). * And We wished to do a favour to those who were weak (and oppressed) in the land, and to make them rulers and to make them the inheritors, And to establish them in the land, and We let Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Haman and their hosts receive from them that which they feared."

(Surah Al-Qasas, 4-6)

 Dear brother, there are three reassuring promises in the abovementioned verses; the first one of which is "And We wished to do a favour to those who were weak (and oppressed) in the land, and to make them rulers". This verse bears glad tidings for Muslims and so does the following verse in which Allah Almighty says:

"Consider not that Allah is unaware of that which the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) do, but He gives them respite up to a Day when the eyes will stare in horror."

(Surah Ibrahim, 42)

 Dear brother, the one who does not take into consideration the fact that Allah Almighty watches him, and does not fear Allah, is an utterly senseless person because Allah Almighty will destroy him. For example the cruel tyrant (Arel Sharon), who demolished many Palestinian homes, has spent 4 years in a coma till now, which is a punishment from Allah Almighty. I heard that his weight went down to 40 KG.

An Islamic awakening and a return to Quran and Sunnah are the bases of winning victory:

 Dear brother, Allah the Almighty has always existed and will always exist, He says:

"Consider not that Allah is unaware of that which the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) do, but He gives them respite up to a Day when the eyes will stare in horror."

(Surah Ibrahim, 42)

"But this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers"

(Sural Al-Mutaffifin, 34)

  Dear brother, our reality is really painful. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, described it as if he saw it with his own eyes, he said:

"The people will soon gather to attack you as people when eating invite sh3er to share their dish. Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time? He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be weak and ineffective like the scum and rubbish that carried down by a torrent"

[Abu Dawood from Thawban]

  There are about 1.5 billion Muslims, which is 25% the quarter of the world's population.

 "And Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last enervation into your hearts. Someone asked: What is wahn (enervation). The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, replied: The love of the world and dislike of death."

[Abu Dawood from Thawban]

 The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, identified the essence of our problem accurately, he said:

"The people will soon gather to attack you as people when eating invite sh3er to share their dish. Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time? He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be weak and ineffective like the scum and rubbish that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last enervation into your hearts. Someone asked: What is wahn (enervation). The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, replied: Love of the world and dislike of death."

[Abu Dawood from Thawban]

 Dear brother, we should wake up from our slumber, return to obeying Allah's orders, remember Him, be grateful to Him, and turn to Him in repentance so that Allah Almighty grant us success.

The books written by the former American President Nixon and their implicit messages:

 Before coming to the end of this topic, let me tell you the following story, which touched me deeply: It is about Robert Crane, a senior advisor to the former USA President Nixon. Crane held a Ph.D. in civilizations, was a prominent political figure, and spent more than 30 years in the U.S. Department of State and the White House.

 The American President Nixon wrote a book in 1990 entitled: Seize the Moment: America's Challenge in a One-Superpower World, in which he openly said that the United States has no interest in the Middle East except oil and Israel. This book was written in English and was translated into Arabic. Nixon was extremely unfair to Islam and Muslims; he described Muslims as barbarians, who live in total poverty, backwardness, ignorance, and suffer from diseases and civil conflict.

 What is really surprising is that after two years of publishing that book; i.e. in 1992, he wrote another book titled Beyond Peace in which he completely contradicted some of the statements mentioned in his first book. He said that although Western countries were defeated during the Crusades, they made every effort to acquire the tools of scientific and technological progress; therefore, they became developed countries. In contrast, Muslims achieved victory, nevertheless, they did not follow the reasons for scientific and technological progress; hence, they disbanded, they were militarily and politically defeated, and they had weak media and economy. He mentioned that in his second book

 Then he started to mention the disadvantages of the American society, he said that they were suffering from internal problems, social disintegration, and dysfunctional families, which have only one breadwinner. Furthermore, he said that 60% of their school and college students are foundlings; they do not know their real fathers, and the rate of divorce and whoresons is ascending continuously.
 He added that they spend annually more than 14 billion dollars on crime prevention; nevertheless, the crime rate is increasing. They also spend more than 10 billion dollars on addiction prevention; nevertheless the addiction rate is also increasing constantly. However, the Islamic world has maintained excellent morals and behavioral controls.

The reason why President Nixon changed his point of view about Islam:

 What is really surprising is the sudden change in describing the Islamic society from a barbaric, ignorant, terrorist, violent and backward society into a civilized one in which people adhere to moral values. So what is the reason behind this sudden change? After publishing his second book, Mr. Nixon held a press conference in which he explained why he changed his mind. He said that during his stay in the White House, he had an advisor called "Robert Crane". During the composition of the first book, Seize the Moment, and when he wanted to compose the chapter that was particularly related to the Islamic world, he asked the CIA to bring him a file on Islamic fundamentalism. The CIA presented him with a comprehensive file but he had not time to read it, so he sent it to his advisor on history and civilizations, Robert Crane, to read and summarize it. But, due to the delay in sending the summary back to him, the first book was full of mistakes when it was published. Then, Robert Crane came to Mr. Nixon and told him that it is extremely unfair to give this false information about Muslims. The US President asked him: Why? Is not it the political ideology that we were reared upon in the White House? Robert Crane answered: When I finished reading the file on the Islamic world you sent me, I converted to Islam. Then he gave the president a summary of the Islamic world and the real truth about Islam, which was the reason why the American president changed his attitude concerning Islam.

 Dear brother, Robert Crane is now a Muslim, he writes a series of articles in one of the most important Western periodicals, this series is titled "How can the West benefit from Islam?"

The Islamic financial system is the best in the world:

 Last sermon, I mentioned the resolution of the French Senate when they ordered to make a study on the Islamic banking system, then this committee proposed to apply the Islamic banking systems in their banks and economy. It proposed that despite the fact that Islam prohibits usury, “al-Gharar” sale (the risky or hazardous sale, where details concerning the sale item are unknown), “al-Tawarruq” sale (when a person purchases a good on credit from the seller and himself is selling it to another person cash), and usurious interests. Now, the current events and the global economic crisis demonstrated that that the Islamic financial system is the best in the world; in fact, the states that did not deal in stock markets are safe from this sharp crisis.
  Dear brother, I will tell you again that we possess a deep faith which makes us feel secure and free from worry; no sudden event would shake our faith, but rather any global event deepens our faith in this great religion.

  I say these words, and ask Allah Almighty's forgiveness for you and me; so ask Him forgiveness and He will forgive you, for blessed are those who ask forgiveness.

 The second sermon:

 Praise be to Allah, and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, the Protector of righteous people; and I bear witness that Prophet Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, whose character is exalted. O Allah, our Lord, have peace and blessings upon our Prophet Mohammed, his household, and his companions.

Calling people to Allah is an individual duty for every Muslim within his knowledge:

 Dear brother, no one should ask: how could I serve Islam? You can do many things; you can be a basic building block in this nation, and you can be a kind of strength for this great religion. There is Jihad Al-Nafs (the struggle against evil ideas, desires and powers of lust), which is a kind of Jihad. Allah Almighty says:

"As for those who strive hard in Us (Our Cause), We will surely guide them to Our Paths (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism)"

(Surah Al-Ankabut, 69)

  And there is the Jihad of calling people to Allah, He says:

"But strive against them (by preaching) with the utmost endeavour, with it (the Quran)."

(Surah Al-Furqan, 52)

  If you have listened to a Friday sermon and have felt touched by it, you can send an audio tape or CD of it to your friends, colleagues, neighbors, or family. Also, if you have attended an Islamic lecture, you can tell your acquaintances about the main points of it during the rest of the week. Thus, calling people towards Allah is an individual duty for every Muslim within the limits of his Islamic knowledge and among people he knows; his family, neighbors, friends, colleagues and so on. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: " Convey from me even an Ayah of the Qur'an". So, you should convey even a Hadith, a story, or an Islamic ruling. For example, consider the story of that American advisor who had not known about Islam before reading that file, and then he embraced Islam, which means it is remiss of us not to convey the true image of Islam.

 I went to China two weeks ago, what attracted my attention is that just as they have Halal meat versus the pig mea; they also have Halal clothing. Some companies in that country manufacture loose and decent clothes, which are suitable for Muslim women. Thus they have Halal clothing and Halal meat as well. In contrast, most Muslim women in Arab countries wear Haram clothes; when a Muslim woman goes to the market, she buys fashionable and indecent clothes. Although China was a communist country, nowadays they have Halal clothing and meat. We should establish some companies that manufacture clothes suitable for Muslim women; these clothes should be loose- fitting, not tight and not so attractive as to call men’s attention to it. That was one of the things that caught my attention there.

Supplication itself is an act of worship:

  Dear brother, let us invoke Allah Almighty for making Du'a is an act of worship:
O Allah, make our country safe, stable, having plenty of provision, and sticking to Your Noble Book and the Sunnah of Your Prophet, peace be upon him, as well as other Muslims' countries.
O Allah, whoever wants to do good to Islam and Muslims, then guide him to goodness, while whoever wants to harm Islam and Muslims, then seize him with Your Omnipotent Seizure O All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what You Will, and make him a warning for sh3er. O Allah The Possessor of majesty and honor.

 O Allah, Your enemies and our enemies say exactly like
People of A'd said before:

"Who is mightier than us in strength?"

(Surah Fussilat, 15)

  O Allah, they forget, because of their haughtiness, that You are mightier than them in strength. So pour on them different kinds of severe torment. Verily, You are the Ever Watchful over them.
O Allah, we ask You by the tears and crying of children, the humility and sacrifices of young men, the heroism and martyrdom of young women, the righteousness and awareness of msh3er, the kneeling (during Salah) and invocations of old men, and the supplication of those who call for Your Help, seek protection and refuge with You, glorify Your Name, praise You, utter the formula of faith (that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah Alone), utter the proclamation of the Greatness of Allah; and hope for Your Mercy, please do not let us down even if we deserve it, do not abandon us to ourselves for an instant, but rather put all our affairs in good order, O Allah the Bountiful and the Generous.
  O Allah, it is You Who say in the Qur'an:

"And (as for) the believers it was incumbent upon Us to help (them)"

(Surah Ar-Rum, 47)

  We believe in You, but we are slack in performing acts of worship. Although we are not worthy of Your Victory according to Your Justice, please grant us triumph by Your Mercy and Bounty. O Allah, we ask You by the oath You take on Your Divine Entity and by our faith in You, please grant us victory, and please grant victory to our oppressed brother in faith in Palestine, Iraq, and everywhere in the world. Please foil the evil plots of their enemies in the near future in the time and the way You want, O Allah the Lord of the worlds. O Allah, it is You Who say:

"(Remember) when you sought help of your Lord and He answered you (saying)"

(Surah Al-Anfal, 9)

 We sought help of You so please answer us.
  O Allah, You are the Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive us. O Allah, we sought help of You just as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, his noble companions and the righteous predecessors did. O Allah, we ask You by our sincere faith in You, our total submission to You, and our severe neediness to You, please answer our call in the very near future, O Allah the Lord of the worlds. O Allah, it is You who say:

"Fight against them so that Allah will punish them by your hands"

(Surah At-Tawbah, 14)

  O Allah, show us Your Torment and Destruction on them, and show us Your Omnipotence in destroying them, O Allah the Lord of the worlds. O Allah it is You who say:

"(They were reprieved) until, when the Messengers gave up hope and thought that they were denied (by their people), then came to them Our Help"

(Surah Yusuf, 110)

  O Allah, we do not wish to reach a point of despair, and we do not lose hope in Your Mercy. O Allah, we ask You by our thinking well of You, to grant us victory against our enemies, You are the Bountiful, and we ask You to restrain the evil might of the disbelievers against us, You are Stronger in Might and Stronger in punishing.
  O Allah keep us away from Your Wroth and Anger, do not destroy us for the deeds of the foolish ones among us, grant victory to Islam, honor Muslims, disgrace polytheists and polytheism.

  O Allah, grant Islamic leaders success to what pleases you, make them united, and make them follow the path of truth and guidance, O Allah the Lord of the worlds.
  O Allah, grant us Your Blessings and do not deprive us of them, grant us honor and do not humiliate us, give us preference over other nations and do not turn away from us, please us and be pleased with us. O Allah, bless our Prophet Muhammad and grant him peace, and to all of his Family and his Companions.
